Our Staff
The Staff of Precision Ergonomics has provided services to clients in
automotive, rehabilitation, office, industrial, material handling, governmental,
distribution center, school and home environments.
Gary Downey, PE, ATP, CPE
Gary is a Board certified professional ergonomist (CPE) and a licensed
professional engineer (PE). His credentials include a Master’s Degree in
Biomedical Engineering from The University of Tennessee, a Bachelor’s
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, and
certification as an Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP) through The
Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).
Gary has received national recognition from RESNA and the Paralyzed
Veterans of America for his engineering design work for people with
disabilities. He has served as Chair of the Job Accommodations and
Ergonomics Special Interest Group for RESNA and currently serves on the
RESNA Board of Directors.
Jennifer Downey, PT
Jennifer is a registered Physical Therapist and the Managing Partner for
Precision Ergonomics. Jennifer has degrees from Iowa State University and
The Wichita State University. Jennifer has over 10 years of rehabilitation
experience in a wide variety of environments.
